How it works

Between the scanner and your till.

A small edge device sits between your barcode scanner and your POS terminal. When a shopper scans a product with an active promotion, the device applies the promotional price automatically — with no change to your existing POS software. Here's what that looks like at your counter.

  1. Shopper scans a product
    The barcode reaches the Retail Signal device first — exactly as it always has, at the same speed.
  2. The device spots an active promotion
    In milliseconds it swaps in the promotional barcode for that item. Everything else passes straight through, untouched.
  3. Your POS rings up the promo price
    No POS change, no new software, no retraining — the till behaves exactly as it does today.
  4. You see the earning in the app
    Within seconds, the scan and what you earned from it appear in Retail Signal Merchant.
